"Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift." II Cor. 9:15
I received my first Christmas present today as my husband and I attended my younger brother's Christmas Cantada at Southside Baptist Church Henderson, Tx. His wife and son were there as well as my older brother and his wife. So it was a family affair and we filled almost a whole pew. The music was great and the presentation of Jesus as the HOPE, PEACE, and JOY of the world was in itself a special gift. But as I sat there and listened it dawned on me that this was the first time all 3 of us Rogers kids had been in church together at Christmas time since our parents died---or maybe even since before we all became adults and left home.
It brought tears of joy to my eyes because both of my brothers are prodigals of a sort---come back home to their roots of faith. Lanita's Legacy author couldn't be more blessed and it truly is an unspeakable gift that I want to shout to the roof tops. This gift will only be topped by the celebration of the Christ Child Himself born to be our Savior.. What gift have you or will you receive this season that is unspeakable; yet given to be shared with anyone who will listen??
Love in Him,
